Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium ripe banana fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen, hulled
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes optional for thicker texture

Instructions
 

  • Wash and hull the strawberries. Peel and slice the banana.
  • Add banana, strawberries, milk, vanilla extract, and optional sweetener to the blender. Add ice cubes if desired.
  • Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more sweetener or milk as needed.
  • Pour into a glass, garnish if desired, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruit and skip the ice cubes.
Substitute dairy milk with almond, oat, soy, or coconut milk for a dairy-free option.
Add protein powder or chia seeds for extra nutrition.
Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated up to 24 hours; shake well before drinking.
