- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup béchamel sauce made with 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp flour, 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small garlic clove minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley optional
Make béchamel by melting butter, adding flour, and whisking in milk until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
Add tomato sauce and smoked paprika, simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Stir in béchamel sauce, mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve over pasta, seafood, or vegetables. Garnish with parsley if desired.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer to reduce the liquid.
