Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
- 2 cups pretzels mini twists or sticks
- 1 cup peanuts or mixed nuts
- 1 cup M&M’s or other candy-coated chocolates
- 1 bag 12 oz white chocolate chips or almond bark
- Optional: Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the Mix: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, peanuts, and M&M’s. Gently toss to mix evenly.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler to melt the chocolate.
- Coat the Mix: Pour the melted white chocolate over the Chex mix. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently toss and coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Spread and Set: Spread the coated mix onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with optional sprinkles for a festive touch. Let it sit at room temperature or refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
- Break and Serve: Once set, break the mix into bite-sized pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
