Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 15 oz whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup creamed corn
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp melted butter optional
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional add-ins:
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 –2 chopped jalapeños
  • A pinch of paprika or garlic powder

  • Prepare the corn mixture: Mix whole corn and creamed corn in a bowl.
