Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 can 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)
- 1 can 4 oz diced green chilies (optional for extra spice)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or a mix of cheddar and pepper jack
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped jalapeños optional for spice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
- Mix the Base: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Combine the Ingredients: Add the cooked ground beef, diced tomatoes with green chilies, green chilies (optional), jalapeños, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir to combine.
- Bake: Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake It: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.
