Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes and sear until browned on all sides, then remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant.
Stir in the paprika and peri-peri sauce, allowing the spices to toast for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the cream and wine (if using), stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
Return the beef to the pan and stir to coat with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the beef is tender and well-coated with the sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or Greek yogurt.
