- 1 pound chicken gizzards cleaned and trimmed
- 2 cups AIP-compliant bone broth or vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar optional for added brightness
- 2 carrots sliced (optional for added flavor)
