- 2 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
- 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon cut into wedges
- Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)
Pat salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mix evenly over the salmon and shrimp.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook salmon fillets skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
Serve salmon and shrimp with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Adjust Cajun seasoning to control the spice level.
For a dairy-free option, use olive oil instead of butter.
