Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus 12-15 spears
- 6-8 slices of bacon adjust for number of spears
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil optional
- Garlic powder optional
- Optional: Parmesan cheese or balsamic glaze for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

- Trim asparagus: Remove tough ends by snapping or cutting.
- Wrap asparagus with bacon: Spiral a slice of bacon around each spear.
- Season: Drizzle with olive oil (optional), and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bake: Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy. Flip halfway for even crispness.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
You can add extra flavor by drizzling balsamic glaze or sprinkling grated Parmesan before serving. If using thick bacon, you may need to bake a bit longer for crispiness. For a healthier option, try using turkey bacon or adding a squeeze of lemon for a fresh twist.
