- For the spicy tuna patties
- 300 g fresh tuna finely chopped or ground sushi-grade
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions
- Salt & pepper
- For the burger
- 2 –4 burger buns toasted
- 1 ripe avocado sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickled cucumber optional
- Spicy sauce
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 –2 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Prepare tuna mixture
In a bowl, mix chopped tuna, mayo, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, egg, and panko. Season with salt and pepper.
Form patties
Shape mixture into burger-sized patties and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to firm up.
Cook patties
Heat a skillet with a little oil. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and golden outside but tender inside.
Make spicy sauce
Mix mayonnaise, sriracha, and lemon juice until smooth.
Toast buns
Lightly toast burger buns until golden.
Assemble burger
Bottom bun → lettuce → crispy tuna patty → spicy sauce → avocado slices → tomato → pickles → top bun.
Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
