Crispy Spicy Tuna California Avocado Burger

Ingredients
- For the spicy tuna patties
- 300 g fresh tuna finely chopped or ground sushi-grade
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions
- Salt & pepper
- For the burger
- 2 –4 burger buns toasted
- 1 ripe avocado sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickled cucumber optional
- Spicy sauce
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 –2 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare tuna mixture
- In a bowl, mix chopped tuna, mayo, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, egg, and panko. Season with salt and pepper.
- Form patties
- Shape mixture into burger-sized patties and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to firm up.
- Cook patties
- Heat a skillet with a little oil. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and golden outside but tender inside.
- Make spicy sauce
- Mix mayonnaise, sriracha, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Toast buns
- Lightly toast burger buns until golden.
- Assemble burger
- Bottom bun → lettuce → crispy tuna patty → spicy sauce → avocado slices → tomato → pickles → top bun.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
Notes
- Use sushi-grade tuna for best flavor and safety.
- Don’t overcook tuna—keep the inside juicy.
- Add sesame seeds or nori flakes for extra umami.
