
Classic Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.

- Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract.

- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes).

- Transfer ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2–3 hours for firmer texture.

- Scoop and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt or a vanilla bean instead of extract.
- Don’t overfill your ice cream maker; leave space for expansion.
- Mix-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or fruit can be folded in after churning.
